    8-10.

  4. Program requirements

    You are required to attend a demo day, even if you don’t pitch. Attendance of workshops is optional and they are all recorded. If you schedule and don’t cancel a 30-min one-on-one session within 24 hours, you forfeit it.

  5. Do you need prior finance knowledge?

    No, the program is designed for founders with no prior knowledge of finance, accounting, or fundraising. However, be prepared to invest time and energy into mastering startup finance. Expect to revisit the training videos several times to fully absorb the concepts — especially if you don’t have a finance background.

  1. How much does it cost?

    Our base program price is $2199. This includes ten 1-hour workshops, six individual 30-min sessions, a 90-minute demo day, 1-hour meet and greet, and bonuses valued at $1299 for all and additional prizes for demo day winners. 

  2. If you need extra help

    If you need additional help building a financial model, we offer two options: additional 6 1:1 hours with The Startup Station ($+1500) or Forecastr TSS Deal which includes onboarding where you work with their financial analyst to implement your model on their platform and 6-Month of Self-Serve (+$1600).

FAQ

Is there a refund window?

The fee is not refundable. The group size is limited to give everyone a chance to participate. We will stop the signups once we fill the group. 

Do I have to attend all program sessions?

All workshops are recorded and you don’t have to participate though we strongly encourage it.

If you cannot make a one-on-one session, we ask that you reschedule 24 hours in advance, in order to avoid forfeiting it. Everyone is required to attend a demo day, even if you don’t pitch.

Do I have to prepare for every meeting?

No, but you would get more out of each session if you come prepared with questions.

Will there be homework?

There won’t be any homework. However, to be able to present at the demo day you would have to prepare a pitch deck with financials.

If I miss a workshop, do I get a recording?

Yes, we record all workshops and upload all workshop materials on the Program drive.

What happens if I can no longer attend?

You can inform the Startup Station team that you want to withdraw from the program. No refunds will be provided for any unused sessions.

What happens if The Startup Station cancels a program?

You will get a 100% refund for any remaining sessions.

Who runs the sessions?

Workshops are run by Victoria Yampolsky and Jeanne Sullivan. A panel of fundraising experts provides feedback during the Demo day and selects 3 winners for investor intros. One-on-one sessions are with the respective SMEs.
